An Interview with Graduate, Rita Addae

Rita Addae: graduate and shop owner

Rita Addae was a student of Today’s Choices between the year 1996-1998. She came to Today’s Choices as a result of financial difficulties on the part of her mother who couldn’t take care of her and her siblings. After a relative introduced her to the Ministry, she took up the challenge of training as a seamstress. There at Today’s Choices she worked hard and was trained as a good seamstress and this gave her a future of hope and a livelihood.

Spiritually, she was introduced for the first time to Jesus Christ who has become her personal Saviour and life has never been the same since. Most of the time, the shyness that prevented her from opening up is a thing of the past. She is an active member of the Pentecost Church in her locality.

“The love of Christ helps me love others too. I have by the Grace of God been able to train other girls to become seamstresses including helping girls from Sweetwater Ministry during the recent internship before their graduation in June, 2008. Freely I received and so I’m ready to share with everyone who is ready to learn. I’m now married and expecting a baby very soon. I’m thankful to the Almighty God for this opportunity to have this training and also grateful to the numerous partners who, for the love of Christ, shared their resources with me without which I don’t know where I would be.”
May God richly bless you all.
