From the first beat of the music as the Strong Tower Bible Church 212 Dance Ministry performed to “Freedom” to the expressive moving music by Mandisa, the night was a celebration of the gift of Freedom. Co-founders Debbie French and Pam Hawkins shared the accomplishments and blessings of the past years and the introduction of a new outreach to educate the “children behind the wall” at the Sweetwater House. Margaret Callahan and Cathy Riviere emphasized the needs and relationships of the ministry based on their year stay at Sweetwater House.
A colorful Ghanaian Market, filled with items made by the girls, demonstrated the skill learned during the vocational sewing program. The Adopt a Girl display presented the opportunity to sponsor a Sweetwater Girl during the two year stay at the school. The Silent Auction brimmed with items generously contributed by community donors. It was again a wonderful and blessed night!
