Prayer Needs:

Today’s Choices 20th Anniversary Celebration….

• Please pray for the Today’s Choices 20th Anniversary  Celebration on February 22, 2011 at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee.

• Pray that God will recieve the glory for all that He has done for this ministry over the last 20 years!!!

• Pray that the funds will be raised to continue to support the awesome ministry of training and discipleship of these 24 girls. We only have fundraisers every two years and so our goal is BIG.. it is $300, 000. This will keep the ministry in Ghana running for the next 2 years. I am glad we serve a BIG God!!

• Pray that the people who attend the event will be blessed and encouraged to see how the funds are used to bless the girls, the staff and the country of Ghana, West Africa

• Pray for the smooth transition of the program

Cynthia’s Prayer Requests:

Cynthia Osei is 20 years old and is one of the girls at Sweetwater House. Though both parents are alive, they have divorced. She was given away as a helpmaid to a friend of her father. The treatment she received was very harsh. She was forced to drop out of school and so she didn’t have any formal education. It is by God’s grace and the help of a friend she is at Sweetwater House.

Please pray that she will know Christ better through his Word.
Wisdom to learn sewing skills she is being taught to help better her life someday.
Healing of throat pains she is having.
Others will see Jesus in her, especially members of her family.

Financial Needs

Many of you may want to make a difference or get involved but don’t know how or don’t have much to give. I am here to tell you that there is no such thing as a small gift to these young women. It costs less than one dollar to feed one of the Sweetwater girls a good breakfast so that she can be focused and ready to learn how to sew that day. It costs $20 to buy one girl her very own bed sheets, something she has never owned in her entire life. It costs less than a dollar a day to provide a girl with all of the toiletries and personal care items she will need, including everything from soap to a toothbrush. You can change a life NOW… by making “sweetwater” available to one girl in Ghana, West Africa.
