Cynthia’s Prayer Requests
Cynthia Osei is 20 years old and is one of the girls at Sweetwater House. Though both parents are alive, they have divorced. She was given away as a helpmaid to a friend of her father. The treatment she received was very harsh. She was forced to drop out of school and so she didn’t have any formal education. It is by God’s grace and the help of a friend she is at Sweetwater House.
Please pray that she will know Christ better through his Word.
Wisdom to learn sewing skills she is being taught to help better her life someday.
Healing of throat pains she is having.
Others will see Jesus in her, especially members of her family.
Please Pray for Augustine and his family:
Augustine Amoateng has been a faithful servant to Sweetwater House and Today’s Choices for 10 years! He is gifted in his trade and desires to teach others. It is because of his skill and dedicated teaching that our girls have excelled as seamstresses. He, his wife (see photo) and new baby, Marcia, now live in one room of his sister’s house. It is our desire to bless Augustine and his family with a new home. We have almost reached our goal and his house is nearing completion.
Augustine has just gotten out of the hospital and has been diagnosed with kidney problems. Please pray for his health and that God would restore him so that he can continue to teach our girls the intricate details involved in being a seamstress.
